Leatherman Tool Group Inc. is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support productivity, quality, and growth across our operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to design, improve, and implement processes and equipment that help us deliver world-class tools.

What You’ll Do

  • Improve production methods, workflow, tooling, and equipment to optimize safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Design and develop fixtures, tooling, gages, and production aids to support new and existing products
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining processes, equipment needs, tooling, and timelines
  • Apply Lean and continuous improvement tools to solve problems and increase efficiency
  • Participate in project teams focused on productivity, quality, and process capability
  • Support capital equipment justification, installation, and startup
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure manufacturable designs and smooth transitions to production
  • Analyze problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Communicate project progress and results clearly to stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or light-industry environment preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • CAD experience required (3D CAD preferred)
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering and production teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Curiosity, resilience, and a passion for continuous improvement
