About the Department

The City of Elkhorn is currently accepting applications for a Seasonal Public Works Laborer. We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to support our Department of Public Works during the summer season. This position performs a variety of tasks to assist with parks and grounds maintenance.

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work as needed
  • Hourly Rate: $15.77 per hour
  • Duration: Seasonal (Summer months)

Position Duties

This seasonal role involves a variety of general labor tasks focused on parks and grounds maintenance. Typical duties include:

  • Mowing and trimming
  • Landscaping and beautification
  • Athletic field preparation
  • Cleaning and maintaining park facilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Applicants must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be age 16 or older.
