Riveron is a national business advisory firm specializing in accounting, finance, technology, and operations. We partner with clients across their full business lifecycle to deliver measurable results. Our people are collaborative, curious, and committed to excellence – qualities we also seek in every new team member.
The Senior Associate of Marketing & Sales Content is responsible for creating, refining, and curating content that advances prospects through the entire sales funnel, from generating awareness to initial interest, consideration, intent, and ultimately, successful new client engagements. Riveron is a business advisory firm that partners with CFOs, finance leaders, and private equity sponsors to address complex accounting, finance, and operational challenges. This hybrid marketing/sales content position involves developing high-quality proposals, sales presentations, sales collateral, and other sales enablement materials, as well as “top-of-funnel” content focusing on brand development and thought leadership. This content is essential for raising brand awareness and guiding potential clients through the early stages of their buying journey.
This role sits within the Marketing team and reports to the Director of Sales Enablement, initially focusing approximately 70% on sales enablement content efforts and 30% on developing top-of-funnel content in collaboration with the Director of Brand Development—though this content mix may shift at times based on departmental needs. Across all content efforts, the Senior Associate will work closely with consulting professionals, subject matter experts, PR resources, and marketing colleagues to ensure deliverables are clear, compelling, accurate, and aligned with Riveron’s brand and value proposition.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally with a focus on business communications, marketing, or public relations.
5+ years of experience in sales enablement, marketing writing, proposal development, or project management, preferably in a professional services environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft a clear and cohesive narrative. Experience with graphic design or providing creative direction/visual refinements is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to enhance presentation aesthetics through effective use of color, graphics, charts, and visuals.
Ability to develop a coherent, client-centric story based on an initial idea or overall message
Detail-oriented and quality-focused, with a strong sense of accountability for deliverables.
Able to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
Self-directed problem solver capable of working through complex assignments with limited oversight.
Collaborative team player who works effectively across offices, functions, and seniority levels, including C-level executives.
Curious and inquisitive mindset, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and actively listen.
Willing to work extended hours within North American time zones, including evenings and occasionally weekends, as business needs require.
What You’ll Do:
Develop, edit, and produce sales enablement materials across various practice areas, including proposals, presentations, and promotional collateral.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and marketing colleagues to create and maintain industry- and sector-specific materials.
Provide timely and high-quality support to business development pursuit teams, including responses to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and proposal assembly.
Create and curate high-quality proposals that adhere to firm standards, branding guidelines, and messaging architecture. While proposal creation is not the main responsibility of this position, there may be times when additional support is needed during peak periods.
Review, proofread, and enhance draft proposals submitted by client-facing teams, focusing on improving storytelling, structure, and visual presentation.
Synthesize research and analytical inputs to strengthen proposals and sales materials.
Develop, edit, and produce brand positioning and thought leadership marketing content (e.g., blog articles, advertising copy, case study write-ups, and other formats) that stimulates top-of-funnel interest in Riveron and encourages engagement, particularly at awareness/consideration stages
Support firm-wide initiatives such as website evolution and major campaigns with new and repackaged content in various formats
Oversee content execution for delivery across multiple channels and formats, including articles, webinars, award submission write-ups, podcasts, video, and other multimedia initiatives
Serve as a key point of contact with a strong understanding of Riveron’s service offerings, industry verticals, and value propositions.
Enable publication-ready content on behalf of firm leaders/SMEs by providing clear instructions, outlines, suggested topics, ghostwriting, editing, and/or templates that accelerate execution while maintaining accuracy and brand voice
Assist with public relations initiatives by collaborating with internal stakeholders and the PR agency to draft and edit content for earned coverage placement in third-party publications
Collaborate closely with website, social, and digital execution teams to ensure content is delivered with the necessary copy, specs, approvals, and proofing to enable timely, high-quality publication

Consistency in meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and execution.

This involves enabling and supporting subject matter experts (SMEs) through curated topics, editing, outlines, and draft content, sometimes through ghostwriting, while ensuring accuracy, market relevance, and maintaining the brand voice.
