Job Description

The 3rd Party Lead / Data Analyst III position is based in Anchorage and provides oversight of Information Management services with an emphasis on third-party governance, data quality, and operational support. The role supports compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement of data and information management processes.

  • Provide support for documentation procedures and process streamlining across multiple product teams.
  • Establish and maintain standardized databases, documentation, and corporate processes to ensure compliance with quality, design, and environmental requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret documentation and support systems to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Conduct data cleansing activities to maintain data integrity.
  • Produce and maintain KPI reports utilizing SQL and Power BI tools.
  • Administer SharePoint sites, including site maintenance and user access control.
  • Review historical and current data management practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental or unit objectives.
  • This position includes supervisory responsibilities.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in data and records management within construction or engineering environments required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to supervise staff and/or lead functional initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience supporting documentation standards and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to apply advanced knowledge and professional judgment to address complex data, documentation, or process challenges.
  • Ability to analyze issues and recommend practical, compliant solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience with SharePoint site navigation, content management, and user access administration preferred.
  • Experience developing reports or dashboards using SQL and Power BI preferred.

 

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and client.

 

Mathematical Skills:

Comprehend and apply principles of calculus, modern algebra and statistical theory.  Ability to work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations and proofs and theorems.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to work projects.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.  Ability to deal with non-verbal symbols (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in the most difficult phases.  Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

 

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of managers, clients or employees of organization.

 

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as fractions, proportions, and percentages.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of information management databases, SharePoint, SQL, Power BI, MS Word, word processing software, and MS Excel spreadsheet software.
