Job Description

Position Department: Athletics Game Day Staff



Position Type: Staff Part-Time



Overview:

Assist in helping the RMU Athletics Department in fields of marketing, sports management, and day-to-day operations for athletic events. This is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.



Responsibilities:



  • Possible areas of work include: scorekeeper, stat reporter, PA announcer, game clock operator, shot clock operator, official game scorekeeper, stat crew operator, stat crew spotter, ticket taker, parking/traffic control, ushers; and any other game day duties that require assistance.





Minimum Qualifications:



  • High school diploma preferred.

  • Previous experience is helpful but not required.

  • Dependable. Ability to deal with the public and/or game officials.
