Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and innovative General Education Advisor (Teacher) to join our team. This role is ideal for an educator who thrives in a student-centered, project-based learning environment and is excited to build meaningful relationships with students and families.
Advisors at Aveson play a critical role in supporting both academic and social-emotional development, guiding students through personalized learning plans while fostering independence, collaboration, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Advisory & Student Support
• Build a strong advisory community that supports student belonging, engagement, and social-emotional growth
• Serve as a mentor and primary point of contact for a cohort of students
• Facilitate goal-setting, progress monitoring, and regular check-ins with students and families
Personalized Learning & Instruction
• Design and deliver instruction aligned with Aveson’s Personalized Mastery Learning model
• Support students in project-based learning, including planning, execution, and presentation of work
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Curriculum & Assessment
• Deliver standards-aligned instruction (Common Core) through seminars, workshops, and individualized learning strategies
• Use multiple forms of assessment and data to drive instruction and support continuous improvement
• Maintain clear and consistent com
