Position Summary
Responsible for coordinating and scheduling the operation of cutting, processing, and fabrication equipment to meet customer specifications and delivery timelines. Their duties include reviewing work orders, selecting appropriate machines and tooling, optimizing production sequences for efficiency, and ensuring compliance with strict aerospace quality standards. They work closely with production teams to minimize downtime, manage material flow, and maintain accurate records of machine usage and output. Additionally, they play a key role in balancing capacity planning with urgent customer requirements, ensuring precision and reliability in every step of the process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lay out material on machines to ensure all sales order requirements are met
- Schedule all workload for designated area.
- Lay out, monitor, and finalize all outside processing job sets as required.
- Monitor/maintain required contract account stock levels.
- Assist to ensure Quality Control receives information regarding “positive recall” orders.
- Assist to ensure Quality Control receives samples as required for testing.
- Work with the sales department regarding the status of sales orders.
- Maintain Order Changes folder
- Work closely with the shop floor personnel to resolve paperwork and material issues.
- Create stock transfer orders as needed.
- Finalize MP’s or assist shop floor personnel as needed.
- Back-up shipment lists for contract, and large-volume customers.
- Perform all additional duties as requested by manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job requires no supervision of direct reports.

Education and/or Experience
- Requires related experience, and skill and proficiency in a semi-professional occupation, or a specialized operations function. May require further or on-going vocational training as needed.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office software and Employer Resource Planning tools
- Familiar with office and warehouse environments
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
