We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of Every Other Weekend Wound Care Nurse at Tioga Community Care Center.

Essential Responsibilities
- Evaluates the physical, emotional, and social needs of the residents. Reviews residents care plans, assures plans are followed and documents resident medical records
- Supervises care provided by the Nursing Assistants assigned to the unit, providing intervention, education, and assignment adjustments
- Prepares and administers medication and treatments
- Consults with physicians
- Receives and records orders as required
Requirements
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current/active CPR certification preferred
- Long-term care experience preferred
Other Qualifications
- Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
- Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
