Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction equipment and diesel systems
• Tractor/trailer maintenance and repair
• Diagnose, evaluate, and make appropriate repairs to company equipment and vehicles.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely, including repair orders, service truck logs, core and warranty tags, and parts slips.
• Work effectively in a diverse work environment, always using excellent judgment, performing duties in a safe manner, and assuring professional quality of services to all external and internal customers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Complete other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles for diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical, power train, chassis, and preventive maintenance inspections and applications.
• Prefer at least 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance of heavy construction equipment and hydraulic systems maintenance.
• Technical school degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
• Efficiently manage time and workload which includes prioritizing, organizing, and following through on a variety of tasks, assignments, and projects to meet deadlines.
• Possess a valid operator's license with a satisfactory driving background, possess or able to obtain Class A CDL, preferred
• Welding experience helpful.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Highly attentive to detail.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift 75 pounds, ability to stoop, bend, climb and crawl without restrictions and must be able to pass a DOT physical examination.
