For 40 years, our market leading LaserJet brand and portfolio has been a cornerstone of HP’s Print business. HP’s Alliance team is responsible for leading our strategic partnership including business strategy and business model, price negotiations, and seamless business operations. Our team is seeking for a highly motivated subject matter expert with high data analytical skills, curiosity and business acumen to improve outcomes for HP’s LaserJet business.


This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data‑driven insights, and cross‑company collaboration. Ideal for someone who brings strong business acumen, analytical horsepower, and the ability to simplify complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high trust alliance partnership that shapes long term strategy, aligns joint priorities, and unlocks shared growth opportunities.
  • Drive pricing strategy and optimize buy‑prices through market insights, data‑driven negotiation and financial modelling.
  • Partner closely with HP Alliance partner and Internal functions to drive long‑term strategy, product planning, pricing optimization, competitive analysis, and funding programs.
  • Influence and align cross functional teams to deliver strategic outcomes, simplify complexity, and accelerate business impact.
  • Design, govern, and optimize funding frameworks that ensure transparency, accuracy, and strategic deployment of investment dollars.
  • Drive deep competitive analysis in the Print industry to uncover market shifts, product gaps, and strategic opportunities.
  • Transform complex data into clear analytical insights that guide executive decision‑making and future‑proof the business.
  • Collaborates with business and operation teams to drive critical projects and simplify the complex.
  • Defines and reports the metrics required to measure business performance, draws meaningful comparisons to identify and address performance gaps.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Experience working with strategic partners or cross‑company initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in business analytics, strategy, commercial planning, or finance.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and aligning cross‑functional teams toward shared outcomes.
  • Strong command of Excel, Power BI, statistical analysis tools, and financial modelling.
  • Proven ability to manage complex data sets.
