As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer III, you will be part of the New Product Development Team as a voice of manufacturing, fixture development, and new process technologies development.
What You�ll Do:
- Design advanced powered and manually clamped fixturing as need to support welding, machining, and assembly processes for all manufacturing plants
- Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process improvements
- Lead assigned capital equipment projects
- Oversee tooling and equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations
- DFMA analysis of both new and existing products
- Develop process flows, initial line layouts, along with capacity and labor analysis for new product launches
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites
- Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor and/or manager
- Provide technical manufacturing feedback and support for new product development
- Occasional travel required as needed to support project deployment
What You�ll Bring:
- Bachelor�s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or other related field
- 10-15 years of professional experience in a similar role required. 15+ years of professional experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment
- Proven Project Management experience
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Experience with NPD/NPIs
- Experience with 3D CAD software, Creo preferred
- Proficient in GD&T, tolerance stack analysis, and drawing best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge of metalworking processes
- 2D AutoCAD and schematic creation
- Experience with robotic and automated cells
- Capital equipment procurement experience
