Job Description
Unity House of Troy has an opening for a Program Director for our 14th Street Community Residence program. This program serves individuals living with mental illness.

Responsibilities:
  • Management of a 24/7 staffed transitional residential program site serving between 8-12 individuals.
  • Provide direct supervision of (1) Assistant Program Director, (2-3) Case Managers, and all staff covering evening and weekend shifts.
  • Indirect supervision of all awake overnight and Per Diem staff.
  • Effectively manage staff through training, development, staff meetings and communication.
  • Promote staff career development and monitor progress through the coaching model.
  • Direct oversight of 8-12 case records.
  • Direct oversight of the management, maintenance, and staff scheduling of the community residence site.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance efforts for the program. 
  • Oversee program functioning to maintain a high level of quality service to clients.
  • Assist with programs needs as they arise and more.
  • Assist with rotating on-call responsibilities
  • Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field and/or
    minimum of 2+ years of relevant Human Services experience
  • Experience working with survivors of domestic violence or similar populations preferred
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Valid New York State Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
