Key Job Responsibilities:
- Support safety, health, and environmental rules and lead by example
- Ensure product quality meets internal and external specifications
- Ensure team maintain and operate equipment following procedures and best practices as defined in the control plan
- Conduct process and product audits according to the work instructions
- Confirm changeovers are following proper set-up procedure according to work instructions
- Lead the team to be labor efficient during the entire shift and during any type of troubleshooting
- Communicate concerns, improvements and general information to the Area Manager
- Efficiently communicate when there is a troubleshooting and problem solving of manufacturing problems in the operations
- Provide support to the process improver and line leader in pursuit of continuous improvement
- Fulfill assignments/tasks given by Area Manager
- Actively participate in area problem solving teams and other groups as necessary to achieve production goals.
- Review inventory and schedule.
- Plan and communicate production needs to the team to ensure all production requirements are met and ensure a good pass down before each shift.
- Provide training and guidance to team members according to procedures and best practices to achieve short and long-term goals.
- Coordinate 5S and housekeeping duties to maintain high standard of facility cleanliness.
- Audit employee time records and correct as needed using UltiPro.
- Administer coaching and progressive discipline as needed in compliance with the facility work rules.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize objectives and targets to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Safety and goal oriented.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Demonstrated personal computer skills
Qualifications Desired:
- 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing.
- Automotive glass experience
