Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Expanded Learning and Community Schools (or designee), the Classified Manager of Family, School, and Community Engagement Partnerships plans, organizes, supervises, and evaluates districtwide parent engagement, family resource, and community partnership programs. The Manager leads the development and implementation of strategies that increase meaningful parent/family involvement, strengthen school-community relationships, and ensure equitable access to services and resources that support student success. This position serves as a liaison among schools, families, and community agencies, and provides leadership, training, and oversight of staff and programs that support parent education, engagement, and outreach efforts.

LICENSES & REQUIREMENTS

• Bilingual ability (oral and written) in a language reflective of the community served is highly desirable and may be required
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• Associate’s degree in communications, social services, education, counseling, or a related field; Professional experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
• Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in parent engagement, community outreach, or program coordination
• Experience supervising staff or leading programs preferred
