Position Type: Part-time, adjunct, in-person only

Compensation: $850 - $1000 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience)

Location: NHTI Concords Community College, Concord, NH

Overview:

NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach a variety of history and political science courses. Course offerings may include topics like History of NH, US History 1870-present, US History to 1870, Western Civilization, and Western Civilization Antiquity to 1650.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum: Master�s degree in history, political science or a relevant field

  • Experience: Prior teaching experience required and familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS) preferred

  • Residency: Must reside in New England

Position Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.

  • Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.

  • Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.

  • Professional Development: Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
