Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Primary School Nurse at Snyder Primary School. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students, providing medical care, health education, and support to promote a safe and healthy school environment. This full-time position requires a strong commitment to student health, collaboration with staff, and engagement with families.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to students, including the assessment and treatment of minor injuries and illnesses.
- Administer medications and monitor students with chronic health conditions, ensuring compliance with health plans.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation for all students, including immunization records and health screenings.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement health education programs that promote wellness and healthy lifestyles.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student health concerns and provide guidance on health-related issues.
- Conduct regular health screenings, including vision and hearing assessments, and follow up on any identified concerns.
- Manage health emergencies and provide first aid as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
- Stay informed about current health issues, trends, and best practices in school nursing and health education.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school health initiatives.
- Serve as a resource for students, parents, and staff on health-related topics and community health resources.

Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN in the state of [State].
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or a similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development, common health issues, and first aid procedures.
