If you enjoy: 

 

·      Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of various tax returns (federal, state, local, and international) in accordance with applicable tax laws.

·      Ensure accurate and timely payment of all tax obligations.

·      Coordinate and manage tax audits by governmental authorities (IRS, state, local).

·      Respond to tax correspondence and address inquiries from tax authorities.

·      Develop and implement tax strategies to help the organization maintain compliance and optimize tax efficiency.

·      Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities and strategies to maximize deductions and avoid penalties.

·      Analyze tax law and policy to identify solutions for the organization's specific needs.

·      Stay updated on evolving tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.

·      Analyze and interpret complex tax regulations and communicate their impact to management and the tax team.

·      Conduct tax research to address specific tax issues and provide advice to clients or colleagues.

·      Oversee areas of supervision for staff which include hiring, coaching, training, counseling, and oversight of the department or area of supervisory responsibilities.

 

If you have:

 

·      Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

·      Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.

·      Minimum of five years of experience in tax compliance and consulting, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.

·      In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws; proficiency in tax software and reporting tools; strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

·      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, effective communication (written and verbal), strong leadership and management abilities, strong ethical conduct and integrity.
