Job Description




Summary

Qualified candidates for this position will provide excellent Account Management including contract review, lead time, backlog reporting, scorecard data and measurements. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support for delivery status updates
  • Team Player who builds relationships with internal and external customers
  • Primary customer contact for order management and expediting
  • Work with other functions to manage the customer orders, expedite orders, and recover late orders
  • Manage expectations between customers and TMS on lead times, expedites requests, and product availability
  • Work with appropriate resources to improve processes
  • Manage customer portals
  • Manage customer scorecards
  • Report to upper management on account on time delivery status, quality score, and customer disposition

  • Familiar with ERP systems – preferably Oracle
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service
