Job Description

| Salary £46,142 - £51,356, Per annum | Permanent,  Full Time,   37 hours per week | Pro Rata

Opportunity to cover a Team Manager role in Skelmersdale Neighbourhood Team, West Lancashire, 37hrs per week. This temporary arrangement is to cover the absence of the post holder for 3 months or until the post holder returns. The post is within the West Neighbourhoods service. 

 

This is an excellent chance to step into a leadership position, broaden your experience, and contribute to the continued delivery of high-quality services for older people and those with physical disabilities. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight.
  • Support staff development and wellbeing through supervision and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet service priorities and performance targets.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for service users.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in a senior practitioner or supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and safeguarding frameworks.
  • Ability to manage workloads and priorities effectively.
