Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:



1) Provide technical support to the ITS Helpdesk and office operations
2) Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting IT equipment (e.g., computers, printers, projectors, microphones, E-Station)
3) Support installation and maintenance of software (e.g., Microsoft Office, antivirus programs, drivers)
4) Provide classroom and lab technology support (e.g., AV systems, Zoom setup, lab equipment, and real-time troubleshooting during classes)
5) Provide technical support for campus events and activities
6) Perform other duties as assigned


Desired qualifications.



1) Have an interest in learning IT skills and gaining hands-on experience in an IT environment
2) Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills in both Korean and English
3) Be self-motivated, flexible, and able to work effectively with a diverse, multilingual community
4) Exhibit professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a service-oriented mindset
5) Be reliable and able to commit to the required work schedule
6) Availability will be coordinated individually to ensure helpdesk coverage for at least 3 hours per day


Work Hours per student: 15 hours/week during winter and semester sessions. Seeking 2 student(s).

Students must meet the following requirements: 
1) Be in good academic standing (Cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher; or as required by the office).
2) Have enrolled in previous semester or have completed course registration for following semester.


A note on break housing: 
•If applicable, selected work study students may apply for break IGC housing by May 12. 
•UL does not guarantee housing during the summer & winter breaks for the work & study program students who apply for the housing.
•Work & Study students can reach out to UL Housing Staff or IGC housing office directly if they would like to receive more information about break housing.
•The break housing is usually offered on a first-come, first served bases. Please note that the housing office cannot guarantee availability if all rooms are already occupied.
•Work & Student students will follow the same procedure as other students (application period, payment deadline, etc.) if they are planning to apply for break housing at IGC.
