Skilled Fabricator / Pipefitter

Temperature-Controlled Shop | Mid-Level Position

Precision Pumping Systems (PPS), a family-owned manufacturing business since 1972, is growing. Due to increasing demand for our industry-leading turnkey pump stations, we are expanding our fabrication team and seeking a Skilled Fabricator / Pipefitter to play a critical role in production, quality, and mentorship.

This is a hands-on, senior-level position for a professional who can work independently, read and execute complex prints, solve problems in real time, and set the standard for safety and quality on the shop floor.


Essential Job Duties
  • Fabricate parts by cutting, welding, and grooving according to prints
  • Measure, cut, weld, groove, and assemble pumping stations using schematics, prints, and wiring diagrams
  • Verify work and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Report non-conformances to leads or supervisors
  • Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
  • Train and mentor others as needed
  • Apply safe, high-quality practices and systems
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Accurately record job time
  • Assist with packaging systems for shipment
  • Cross-train in other manufacturing functions

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, hand use, and reaching
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
  • Regular use of power tools, hand tools, wires, and components
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
