Job Description

Job Description

Provide senior-level program management leadership supporting Navy maintenance, modernization, inactivation, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) initiatives. Serve as the primary point of contact responsible for contract execution, staffing, schedule, cost, and technical performance oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multi-disciplinary program support operations for Navy programs
  • Provide administrative and technical leadership for contract execution
  • Manage program cost, schedule, staffing, and overall contract performance
  • Monitor contract deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders and technical organizations
  • Supervise assigned staff and provide performance oversight
  • Review reports, records, and operational activities to ensure progress toward program objectives
  • Develop corrective actions and redirect activities as necessary to meet mission objectives
  • Support administrative and program management coordination efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any technical or managerial discipline required
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • PMP or DAWIA Level III in Program Management certification required
  • Minimum 5 years professional engineering experience required
  • 15+ years DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or industry business management preferred

Required Systems, Tools, and Framework Experience

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Navy maintenance and modernization management systems
  • Program management and scheduling tools
  • Navy technical documentation systems
  • Risk management and reporting processes
  • DoD acquisition management frameworks

Required Specialized Experience

  • Management of engineering projects involving maintenance, repair, testing, product improvement, or alteration of naval ship Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Ordnance Systems
  • Experience developing, modifying, and reviewing naval shipboard technical documentation
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and material procedures
  • Experience working with NAVSEA, NSWC, Naval Shipyards, SUPSHIP, and Type Commander organizations
