Make an impact and drive improvement

This is a new customer-fronting role with a direct impact on formulating our marine market strategy and customer approach.

This position offers the phenomenal opportunity to work with the Head of Go-to-Market-Strategy Marine and cooperate with colleagues from all over the world.

What you can look forward to in this role

  • Development of simulation tools and feasibility studies based on vessel performance data and models
  • Using actual performance data and models to feed our simulations with the right assumptions
  • In-depth collaboration with global Sales and Business Development teams in creating and delivering vessel-specific case presentations with strong value propositions addressing the needs of each stakeholder in the maritime ecosystem
  • Close collaboration with Hull Performance team in translating performance concepts and data into value propositions and ship-specific assessments to support our customers’ paint upgrade plans
  • Active role in educating internal and external stakeholders on the value of hull coating upgrades by explaining ‘where the numbers are coming from’ through coaching/training and customer presentations

What does it take to become our new team member?

  • University degree in Marine/Naval Engineering or related field
  • Experience working in shipowner, technical manager, pool manager, vessel performance monitoring or related company
  • Experience in handling energy efficiency / fuel optimization projects
  • In-depth understanding of the maritime ecosystem and impact from upcoming regulations and agreements (CII, EEXI, ETS, Sea Cargo Charter)
  • Strong technical knowledge in marine systems and previous experience in simulations
  • Experience in hands-on data analysis/Power BI
  • Ability to successfully communicate complicated data and findings in a simple fashion
  • Ability to multi-task and align with long-term or fast ad-hoc queries
  • Good financial understanding & commercial orientation
  • Very good at spoken and written English
