Job Description

Position Summary(Basic Job Function)


This is a temporary or on-call position. Obtains medical histories, orders diagnostic tests, performs physical exams and recommends or renders treatment in order to provide medical care for University students.


Unit Position Summary


This is an on-call position to support our inpatient IM service.
This role involves working closely with residents and at times medical students during hospital rounds, along with clinical teaching, supervision and high quality patient care.
Responsibilities include:
1.Daily inpatient rounds with IM residents.
2.Supervise residents in assessment and management plans
3.Bedside teaching and didactic instruction
4.Ensure safe, evidence-based and patient-centered care


Desired Qualifications


Physicians must possess a Michigan Medical license, Board of Pharmacy and DEA licenses, and must be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine.
