Job Description: Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk (Bookkeeping Focus)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk with a focus on bookkeeping tasks. This position is ideal for students or individuals with experience in bookkeeping, banking, or financial data management. While this is a temporary role, there is potential for permanent placement based on performance and company needs. A degree or formal license is not required—your skills, reliability, and attention to detail are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner, including invoice entry, matching, and payment preparation.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as posting transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
  • Prepare reports on account balances, payments, and outstanding invoices.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to address financial queries and provide support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in bookkeeping, banking, or accounts payable (preferred but not required).
