Housekeeping Aide – Fountain View, Cincinnati, OH

Fountain View in Cincinnati is looking for a caring and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to help us maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and visitors. This role is essential to resident dignity, infection control, and overall customer satisfaction.

Position details

• Job type: Full-time/Part-time (various shifts available)

• Shift: Days, evenings, and rotating weekends/holidays as needed

• Location: Fountain View, Cincinnati, OH

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas, following facility cleaning schedules and checklists.

• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect high-touch surfaces to support infection control standards.

• Empty trash and replace liners in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

• Restock supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, soap, and other items in resident and public restrooms.

• Handle resident rooms, furnishings, and personal items with respect and care.

• Report any safety hazards, needed repairs, or unusual resident concerns to the supervisor or nursing staff.

• Follow all infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping, environmental services, or long-term care experience preferred, but not required for motivated candidates.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing carts throughout the shift.

• Dependable, team-focused attitude with good communication skills.
