Job Description

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach for the upcoming winter 2026-2027 season.


 


The 2026-2027 winter season runs from Monday, November 30th through early March. Practices are after school/evenings. This successful program has varsity, junior varsity, and 9th grade levels.


 


Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):


The Varsity Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching a high level basketball program while adhering to rules and guidelines set forth by the school, Dual County League and MIAA. The Varsity Head Coach will oversee the entire Boys’ Basketball Program and should be able to work closely with the subvarsity coaches to ensure a cohesive and competitive program.


 


Expectations:



  • Teaching the L-S Athletics Curriculum 

  • Must be able to take the MIAA Coaching Course

  • Ability to drive the school van to away games

  • Ability to work with high school population

  • Understanding of high school sports operations

  • Work well with high school students, parents and other coaches

  • Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

  • Understands the importance of fun in high school athletics

  • Be prepared, punctual and ethical


Experience Preferred:



  • Experience coaching basketball

  • Experience playing basketball at the high school level or higher


Stipend Range per Schedule B: $6,052 - $7,565
