Glenburnie Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Physical Therapist.

MUST BE A GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED PROGRAM AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST PT, HAVE TAKEN THE NPTE EXAM OR ELIGIBLE TO TAKE IT AND HAVE A STATE LICENSE TO PRACTICE AS ONE OR ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR ONE.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assesses the needs of residents with physical therapy needs and matches their needs with services available.

• Meets with residents regularly according to treatment program schedule, evaluates, and maintains records of residents' progress.

• Reports progress to management and family members and meets with them on a regular basis to discuss.

• Repeats evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.

• Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars on a regular basis to maintain and update professional skills.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Skill communicating verbally and in writing with residents and family members so that all parties understand the program and the degree of progress being made.
