Description: Substitute School Nurse

Job Summary : To strengthen and facilitate the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning. To promote optimal levels of well-being in students and staff. Participates in developing, implementing, and evaluating school health program goals, objectives, and procedures in cooperation with school personnel and community resources.
 

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.


• Must have a minimum of two years of supervised nursing experience in community health, or child health, or related field prior to entry into school nursing practice.

 

2025-2026 Approved Salary:     $34/hour
