Porter Position Description: This position is responsible for maintaining all glassware and silverware clean and polished.
Porter Responsibilities
- Polish and organize glassware and silverware.
- Restock the dining room with appropriate items needed for service.
- Maintain a level of professionalism and community
- Work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure during busy hours
- Maintain the organization, rotation, and cleanliness of front stock areas.
- Be considerate and willing to help out fellow teammates.
- Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant required
- A professional. Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service
- Must maintain a high level of cleanliness and be aware of all food safety standards
- Must be detail-oriented.
