Job Description

Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (Caldera Care) is hiring an experienced Floor Technician to join our Housekeeping team! If you have experience with floor care, janitorial services, or housekeeping in healthcare or long-term care, we want to hear from you.


Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors
  • Clean and maintain hard floors and carpeted surfaces throughout the facility
  • Operate and maintain floor machines and cleaning equipment
  • Follow proper use of cleaning chemicals and infection control procedures
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations
  • Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns
  • Complete assigned work orders and daily tasks on time
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous floor technician, janitor, or housekeeping experience required
  • Experience in healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care setting preferred
  • Ability to operate floor buffers, burnishers, and other cleaning equipment
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical job duties
