Description

Boater’s World Marine Centers is seeking a driven and experienced Business Manager to support both sales performance and finance operations within the dealership.


This role sits at the center of every deal. You will work closely with the sales team to structure transactions, secure financing approvals, present protection products, and guide customers through the final steps of the purchase process. Your ability to move deals forward, maintain compliance, and maximize profitability will have a direct impact on dealership success.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong F&I experience who enjoys a fast-paced, high-activity environment and wants to play a key role in driving revenue.


Key Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Experience

  • Build strong relationships with customers through a professional, customer-focused approach 
  • Support the sales team in progressing and closing deals 
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of active deals and follow-ups 
  • Assist customers across departments as needed to support the overall experience 
  • Ensure all customer information is entered accurately into dealership systems 

Finance and Deal Structuring

  • Structure deals and work with lenders to secure approvals 
  • Submit deals and manage approvals, including more complex credit situations 
  • Present financing options and protection products to customers 
  • Identify opportunities to convert cash buyers into finance opportunities 
  • Complete customer closings and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete 
  • Process tags and titles, including out-of-state transactions 
  • Ensure deals are submitted for funding within required timelines 

Compliance and Deal Management

  • Maintain compliance with all lender, state, and company requirements 
  • Ensure contracts are processed accurately and in a timely manner 
  • Secure clear titles for trade-ins prior to deal completion 
  • Ensure all tag and title transfers are completed within required timeframes 
  • Follow all internal F&I processes and documentation standards 

Team Support and Reporting

  • Train and support the sales team on finance products and deal flow 
  • Partner with leadership to improve deal structure, product penetration, and overall performance 
  • Maintain strong relationships with lender partners 
  • Prepare and submit commission reports as required

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 3 years of finance and sales experience in the marine or powersports industry with a proven track record 
  • Strong knowledge of boats, motors, and marine products 
  • Proven ability to structure deals and secure lender approvals efficiently 
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals (PVR of $3,500+) 
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven, and team-oriented 
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus 
  • Strong computer proficiency with dealership systems, CRM, and finance platforms 
  • Ability to manage multiple deals and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
