The Kitchen at Abeja is located on a beautifully restored century-old farm in the rolling foothills of the Walla Walla Blue Mountains. The 49-acre site is home to the celebrated Abeja Winery, Inn at Abeja, and The Kitchen at Abeja. The Kitchen at Abeja celebrates diverse cultural roots and takes inspiration from leading American and European culinary concepts. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented full-time Server who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a team-first approach to every shift. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and hospitality, maintains a positive and professional attitude, and is eager to learn and grow while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
This role requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and the ability to support breakfast service during slower seasons.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take orders and serve food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
- Enter orders into a computerized Point of Sale system and communicate any special requests to the culinary team
- Assemble food items, such as appetizers, salads, and soups
- Ensure attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages
- Ensure that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
- Maintain current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes and sold-out items
- Process guest payments using proper accounting and cash handling procedures
- Keep work areas, including guest dining areas, clean and organized
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older to comply with alcohol service regulations
- Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule year-round, including mornings, nights, and weekends
- Passion for the “farmer-to-table” philosophy and a deep appreciation for local farms, produce, and ingredients
- Previous experience as a server in a similar restaurant environment
- Ability to perform essential functions on a computerized Point of Sale system
- Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
- Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
- Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s)
