ACCOUNTABILITY:


 


The Account Manager, Lubrizol Life Science – Beauty and Home care will be accountable for the continued growth and development of Lubrizol’s life science - Beauty and Home Care business within Indonesia, this role requires an in-depth understanding of the market, the ability in building relationship and understanding the unmet needs of the customers and aligning these with Lubrizol’s solutions. 


 


RESPONSIBILITIES:


 



  • Be accountable for the short term and long-term development and growth of Lubrizol’s Life Sciences - Beauty and Home care portfolio within the territory.  

  • Autonomously maintaining and enhancing the relationship with our customers within your territory.

  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with multiple contacts within the customers’ organization.  This includes developing and refining key account plans. 

  • Formulate and implement near and long-term strategies to achieve aggressive revenue and profitability targets.

  • Supporting and developing personal care concepts incorporating Lubrizol life science – Home and Beauty products together with customers R&D and Marketing teams.

  • Managing the preparation, organization, presentation and follow up of seminars, training, exhibitions etc.

  • On-going market intelligence to ensure relevant new concepts or products are developed.

  • Staying current on competitors’ activities, capabilities and technologies.

  • Work in partnership with Technical Service Engineer to service key accounts and to prospect new accounts.

  • Technical presentation to the customers and articulating their unmet technical needs internally to develop a solution.  

  • Develop and maintain a healthy and strong pipeline of opportunities via the CRM system to fuel growth.  


 


REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:


 



  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related discipline.  

  • Formal training or experience in cosmetic science will be an added advantage.

  • Sales experience in the personal, health or homecare markets will be an added advantage.

  • Good understanding of personal and home care market will be a definite plus.

  • Fluent communication skills in English, any other language is an asset.

  • Demonstrate ability to work across various cultures, a go get attitude, willingness to learn new skills, and be open to adapt to an ever-changing market.

  • Willingness and ability to travel with a highly flexible schedule.
