Job Description
Live Oak at The Oaks of Louisiana is seeking an experienced, qualified Housekeeping Team Leader. This is a hands-on working position where the Team Leader must be able to function both independently and as part of a team. They must be able to follow and give oral and written instructions. This individual will assist the Supervisor with training new employees on safe use of equipment, chemicals, proper cleaning techniques and procedures, and perform quality control inspections.  This position requires extensive walking, standing, bending, stooping, and some lifting, as well as frequent interaction with residents, and occasional interaction with their pets as necessary. The ability to use a computer and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial. Qualifications include being a high school graduate with a minimum of three (3) years experience in a commercial housekeeping environment. This is a full-time position with varying shift hours, including weekends. The individual will be provided with a WK orientation, followed by a department-specific orientation and training.
