Assistant Professor - Biology/Communication Sciences

Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Assistant Professor - Biology/Communication Sciences at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):

The Departments of Biological Sciences and
Communication Sciences and Disorders at Wayne State University invite
applications for a joint full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position
beginning August 18, 2026. We seek a scholar who will teach effectively and lead
an innovative, externally funded research program in hearing and/or
audiological sciences, using
human or animal models.

Research
programs that foster collaboration between the Departments of Biological
Sciences and Communication Sciences and Disorders are prioritized. Areas that
complement our existing research in neuroscience and bench-to-bedside
approaches are particularly welcome.

PhD in Biological Sciences, Auditory/Audiological Sciences,
or related field (required)
