PFX Cincinnati is looking for a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician (2PM-10:30PM) to join our team! This position ensures that the facilities and equipment are in working order. Performs routine maintenance, repairs, and builds new equipment as needed. Works with outside vendors to ensure that facility and maintenance projects are completed to specification.


In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Performing preventative maintenance on all facility equipment according to maintenance schedule.
• Fixing facility and equipment problems as they arise.
• Working directly with maintenance vendors as needed. Contacting and scheduling vendors, requesting purchase orders, and ordering parts. Answering vendor questions. Working with the vendor to ensure that projects are completed accurately and according to schedule.
• Performing routine inspections of forklifts.
• Welding and fabricating equipment as needed.
• Demonstrating basic PLC logic capabilities.
• Other duties may be assigned.


Required Experience:
• High school diploma and five years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Experience using hand tools, forklift, welding, and grinding.
• Welding certification and Equipment Operations License preferred, but not required.
• Basic electrical skills.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and horizontally push up to 125 pounds.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
