The Sales Service Supervisor leads the sales service specialist, sales engineers, and project managers who are responsible for processing orders, corresponding with customers, bringing in sales, assessing markets, pushing product development, and ensuring customer and company fulfillment.
Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of order processing; ensure that orders and credits are entered promptly, processed correctly and shipped on time according to each customer’s expectations.
Ensure customers are serviced in a confident, professional manner.
Resolve client issues and maintain effective customer relationships.
Basic understanding of all areas of contracts. Ensure staff and department adhere to company standards in contracts.
Manage and direct the quoting and estimating process
Manage and direct take-offs.
Ensure staff know how to review all CAD drawings and blueprints.
Oversee and handle scheduling, staffing concerns, personnel training, and development.
Manage daily activities of all customer service staff and assist with overflow workload. Ensure Plascore company procedures are followed.
Work closely with various departments to coordinate perfect, on-time, error-free shipments.
Have systems knowledge, including comprehension and familiarity with ERP systems and be comfortable working with and interested in exploring more efficient ways to utilize the technology available.
Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods.
Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner.
Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Ensure staff is trained and developed appropriately.
Find ways to boost morale, motivate and coach staff.
Bring in sales and meet sales targets.
Improves communication and relationship between their department and other departments within the company. Breaks down barrier between other departments and works to solve conflicts.
Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least two years progressively more responsible experience
Extensive technical or specialized knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired in the first two years of college, technical school, or business school.
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
