Description

St. Pius X Catholic School (Norfolk, VA) has an opening in their After School Care program for the 2025-2026 school year.  The After Care program is an extension of the school.   Candidates will foster the mission of the school, adhere to Diocesan policies, and provide a nurturing and Christ-centered environment. 

 An ideal candidate will enjoy working with children aged 3 - 12, promote student safety, especially on the playground, have patience, exhibit good communication skills, have a willingness to help students with homework, and have a flexible schedule

Requirements

The candidate should have current CPR / First Aid Training and have completed VIRTUS training through the Diocese of Richmond.   MAT training is a plus. 

Aftercare is offered from 3 pm to 6 pm daily, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise noted; additional hours may be necessary. Employee background check, Virtus training, State Daycare Training and hands-on CPR training required.
