Job Description

Title: Mobilization Coordinator

Employee Working Location: Partially Virtual / Hybrid (Canada)

Employment Status: Temporary Full-time (30 November 2026)

The Mobilization Coordinator will deliver end-to-end workforce mobilization support by sourcing, screening, scheduling, and deploying qualified personnel to meet operational response needs, while ensuring accurate data management, clear communication, compliance with health, safety, privacy and travel requirements, and a positive worker experience through effective collaboration and high-quality service delivery

In this role you will: 

  • Act as the first line of support for internal client related inquiries and requests via telephone, e-mail, and web to ensure 
    courteous, timely and effective resolution of issues. 
  • Provide guidance in accordance with CRC policies, processes, and standards or redirect as appropriate. 
  • Facilitate relevant employee or volunteer services, programs and procedures ensuring alignment to standards, procedures and accurate documentation. 
  • Prepare relevant documentation such as letters, reports, forms. 
  • Liaise with external service providers and vendors as necessary. 
  • Prepare data and reports to support analysis 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in systems and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and contribute to the continuous improvement of services, procedures and
    systems. 
  • Support on projects, initiatives and technology enhancements as required. 
  • Coordinate with other areas of People Services, other CRC functions, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service 
    delivery and investigate and resolve issues. 
  • Integrate volunteer resources and provide guidance and training to colleagues within own department as required. 
     

What we are looking for: 

  • Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years' experience and a 1-2 year post-secondary certification/diploma and/or an 
    equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to fill for the Senior Coordinator role is an asset
  • Must be available to work  between 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern on weekdays and between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm EDT on weekends. 
  • General knowledge of Volunteer or Human Resources and employment legislation. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and ability to work with relevant 
    systems. 
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues, by applying standard procedures and functional or organizational knowledge. 
  • Communication skills, diplomacy and empathy to interpret information and deliver advice, clarify client or stakeholder needs, 
    offer solutions, and resolve escalations in new or somewhat sensitive situations. 
  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality and privacy standards and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries with professionalism and empathy. 
     

Working Conditions:
 

  • Work will be conducted in an office-like setting.
  • Requires concentration, attentiveness, and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work priorities and respond to time sensitive needs.
  • May require travel to safe locations; limited exposure to adverse conditions.
  • Work requires the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Work requires interactions with dissatisfied clients and the resolution of client issues. 
  • In a large-scale emergency, where staff numbers are compromised or additional resources are required provide disaster relief and/or emergency field operational suppor
