HR Data Analytics Intern – TDT Training Australia

Location: Hallam, VIC
Type: Internship (Internship Part-Time; 1 day for 12 weeks

As part of our ongoing digital transformation and workforce analytics initiative, we are seeking a passionate and analytical HR Data Analytics Intern to join our HR People & Culture team.


About the Role

This internship provides an exciting opportunity for a motivated student or recent graduate with a background in Human Resources (Data Analytics), to gain hands-on experience in HR data management and analytics within a dynamic industry environment.

You will support the HR People & Culture Department in analyzing workforce data, streamlining reporting processes, and contributing to data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organize HR data from systems such as Xero, BambooHR, and internal records.
  • Assist in developing dashboards and reports that track HR metrics (e.g., attendance, , performance trends).
  • Support workforce planning and compliance reporting requirements.
  • Identify data patterns and provide insights to improve employee experience and business performance.
  • Assist in documentation, process mapping, and improvement of HR data workflows.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on ad-hoc projects related to data quality and analytics.


About You

You are analytical, curious, and passionate about the intersection between people and data. You enjoy problem-solving and working in a team-oriented, practical environment.


Requirements:

  • Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Human Resource Management, Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, or Google Sheets
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and interest in workforce analytics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
