Job Description

Dietary Aide – Part-Time
Location: Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehab | Tamaqua, PA

Greenwood Center for Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. In this role, you will work alongside other medical professionals to perform food service functions in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring our residents enjoy a safe and satisfying dining experience.

Schedule

  • Part-Time

  • Flexible hours

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and record food and equipment temperatures

  • Clean departmental equipment using proper sanitation measures

  • Sanitize food storage and preparation areas

  • Assist cooks in meal and tray preparation

  • Retrieve and return tray carts to nursing units

  • Operate dishwashers to ensure proper sanitation of all dishware

  • Prepare dining room for resident meals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Must be at least 16 years old

  • Ability to work in a team and follow procedures
