Job Description

Maintenance Engineer

We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Engineer at our Venray facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a
Maintenance Engineer (1 FTE), you will be responsible for maintaining and
optimizing our machinery and systems, including equipment located in cleanroom
    environments.

    You
are responsible for the preventive maintenance of our machinery, including
performing both corrective and preventive actions. You supervise internal teams
and external contractors during maintenance stops and validations, disassemble
machines to access problem areas, and inspect parts for wear or defects. After
repairs, you test the operation of machines and collaborate with operators and
engineers to ensure proper corrective actions have been taken. You also prepare
new work instructions, update technical documentation, and manage spare parts.

    In
addition, you maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and software-driven systems. You
perform diagnostics using PLC interfaces and analytical tools, create work
orders in ERP systems, and resolve malfunctions both from the office and on the
shop floor. You also assist in updating and installing automation software and
PLCs in collaboration with engineering or OEMs.

    Finally,
you document preventive maintenance and deviations, support the Engineering
Department with validations, and represent Maintenance in improvement projects
and equipment commissioning. You perform audits and inspections, contribute to
risk assessments, and advise on long-term equipment performance. This is how
you ensure continuous improvement and efficiency within our organization.
