Position Title: Forklift Operator-Warehouse Associate



Reporting to: Warehouse Manager 



Department: Parts

JOB SUMMARY 



 



This warehouse position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. Responsible for the efficient flow of materials within a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Their duties include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, often using equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. They also maintain inventory records, ensure proper storage, and may assist in packaging and shipping. 



 



RESPONSIBILITIES 





  • Confirming the accuracy of quantity and examining the quality of incoming deliveries 







  • Scrutinizing the stock available in the warehouse 







  • Documenting orders and storing the merchandise systematically 







  • Creating labels for different materials and compartmentalizing the goods accordingly 







  • Storing parts in assigned locations and maintaining production sheets 







  • Locating the correct product during the build process 







  • Maintaining technical documentation for returns 







  • Examining work orders to identify correct materials or containers 







  • Loading or unloading materials onto or from containers, racks or trays 







  • Assembling cartons or crates to store materials or products 







  • Keeping an updated account of stock and inventory 







  • Conducting regular maintenance of equipment to keep it in the best condition 







  • Communicating purchasing requirements and maintaining data on the availability of products 







  • Collaborating with internal departments to monitor and resolve delivery issues 







  • Moving and discarding materials according to company policies and regional laws 







  • Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer needs are met  







  • Any other duties as assigned by management
