Performing Arts Teacher (Drama)

The Academy of Performing Arts at the Atlantic County Institute of Technology offers students the opportunity to train and study Drama, Dance, and Voice during their high school years.  ACIT students work collaboratively with their instructors and peers to develop performance works for stage and film. Students participate in performance showcases, festivals, master classes, auditions, competitions and adjudications. Students have the opportunity to attend live professional performances highlighting  Dance, Drama, Vocal Music and Stagecraft. 
 Our Students Have Attended

Performing Arts Programs at the following schools in

Theatre, Theatre Education, Acting, Dance, Vocal Performance, Music Education, Communications and Media Arts, and more.

(These do not include all the schools students were accepted into)

NJDOE Certification required:  Teacher of Theater (1451) or previously issued Speech Arts & Dramatics (1440) or NJDOE Drama 4108.

Based off of the ACVTEA Association Salary Guide ($60,245 - $89,351), NJ State Health Benefits, Sick, Personal and Bereavement time available.
