Job Description
  • Administer intensive case management services to Middle and High School students focusing on student attendance, discipline, student achievement.
  • Perform frequent home visits to improve attendance, academics and behavior, and engage in dialogue with parents in reference to maintaining a student's focus on a positive life path.
  • Monitor and support detailed intervention plan for targeted students.
  • Disaggregate data to identify trends and interventions to improve student achievement and school climate.
  • Implement services with the goal of returning youth to school full-time.
  • Develop, coordinate and implement programs to guide identified students toward positive paths and encourage their personal, academic and career success.
  • Confer regularly with students, parents, teachers, counselors, principals and other staff to identify areas of improving strategies in working with identified students.
  • Coordinate with district departments and community agencies to promote positive paths and encourage their personal, academic and career success enhancing the social, academic, emotional, health, safety of the student and family.
  • Provide reports that include qualitative and quantitative student data.
  • Provide support to district Summer Learning/Enrichment initiatives. 
  • Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education, and district policies.

High School Diploma or GED- Required
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university-Preferred 
Excellent computer, verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate, provide meaningful feedback, advocate for students and model professionalism.
Knowledgeable of SEL, Restorative Practices and De-escalation skills.
Ability to complete, comprehend and execute knowledge from trainings.
Knowledgeable of district policies, procedures, code of conduct, positive discipline management systems.
Pass all school system, state, and local screening requirements.
Complete comprehensive training involving processes and procedures, the Student Code of Conduct, and the handling of various high-risk situations.
Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate, provide meaningful feedback, advocate for students, and model professional development for campus personnel.
