Job Description

Hendrickson is searching for an intern to work within their Engineering Change Process. They will support managing part numbers, bills of material, and the overall engineering change process.

 

Responsibilities will be to

  • Support and manage the engineering change process with internal cross functional teams.
  • Lead team meetings as needed and create minutes/action items; Work to drive these to closure.
  • Support customer-driven product changes and application approval process but interfacing with customers and completing applications for suspensions.
  • Support Engineering group with product changes and application requirements by collaborating with cross functional teams to process internal and external ECR; utilize Teamcenter, QAD, and engineering prints to interpret changes and determine actions to process requests.
  • Prepare reports, charts, and other materials and ensures accuracy.
  • Assure all change information is accurate and complete prior to routing for approval.
  • Ensure effective communication between all departments on all projects.
  • Work with bills of material, scheduling, and parts follow-up analyst to ensure alignment.
  • Support New Product Development teams by completing SOP 4.4K deliverables.
  • Provide continuous improvement through process improvement and elimination of waste.
  • Perform Teamcenter and QAD data validation as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage projects.
  • Technical, mechanical or engineering background.
  • Computer literate: MS Office, MRP systems.
  • Able to act independently, efficiently, and ability to close open issues.
  • Written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

Students must be enrolled in a degree program; be in good standing with their university and carry a GPA minimum of 3.0 out of 4.0.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $20.00-23.00 per hour based on the student's grade classification. This pay range is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
