Job Description
Overview

Lutron has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to support our Operations Finance Team. This position will be a key part of the Corporate Finance Team supporting monthly financial forecasting for Cost of Goods Sold.

 

A successful Senior Financial Analyst will have a working knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, strong data manipulation skills, and the initiative to learn and add value to the business.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver accurate consolidated monthly and quarterly financial forecasts for manufacturing operations, incorporating key business drivers and inputs from cross-functional leaders.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of operating expenses, capital expenditures, and related financial metrics to validate forecast accuracy and identify trends.
  • Evaluate the financial implications, risks, and opportunities of strategic initiatives and operational decisions proposed by plant leadership.
  • Prepare and present monthly variance analyses comparing actual results to forecasts, providing clear insights and recommendations to Operations leadership.
  • Collaborate with plant accounting teams during the monthly close process to ensure financial accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred 
  • 3+ years work experience in finance and/or accounting with monthly reporting responsibility
  • Proven Excel, analytical data skills required
  • Experience in manufacturing is preferred
  • Experience in SAP is a plus
