Job Description
Kardex AutoStore is seeking a passionate Sales Engineer with a background in automated storage, intralogistics or warehouse handling equipment to be based in Singapore.

He/she will be responsible for developing the pipeline of sales for our AutoStore solutions and growing the business primarily in Singapore. He/she shall be highly motivated and have the commercial skills and experience to grow a business from start-up to established success.

Your tasks

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generation and qualification of leads and management of sales funnels
  • Development of new key customers from selected target industries
  • Qualification and development of opportunities for AutoStore projects
  • Sales of AutoStore solutions, lead the sales phase from acquisition until contract
  • Creation of optimal solutions that deliver customer benefit and value for Kardex
  • Foster and maintain strong customer relationships

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Tertiary qualification in Business administration or technical degree in engineering or a similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with sales and consulting.
  • Proven background in sales of automated intralogistics solutions will be an advantage.
  • Proven business development experience in developing new customers, managing potential target accounts from the selected industries and maintaining a healthy sales pipelines.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing personality, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative nature - ability to establish effective working relationships across functions.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
  • Microsoft office suite knowledge including OneNote.
  • English – fluent (both spoken and written).
  • Travel in-country/within the region – Medium to High.
