You must:
- Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
- Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities, and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
- Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
- If applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations
- Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
- Complete a pre-employment medical
- Obtain a criminal background check
- Bring approved work shoes

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum one-year leadership experience managing/leading a guest-facing team within the hospitality industry
- Minimum 1 year in guest contact role
- Proven Hospitality Operations experience and experience working as a Training Professional
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry and service standards
- Ability to work independently, adapt to change and be solution-oriented
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in common Windows computer applications and e-mail

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Hotel Operations “On the Job Training” aspect of The Four Keys Basics
- Identify departmental training needs and organize appropriate methods of training
- Accountable for educating our Crew on the delivery of exceptional Guest service; proactively provide on-the-spot coaching and feedback when opportunities arise
- Audit and assess all service standards within Hotel venues and identify key business opportunities; share findings with appropriate Leaders
- Support Leaders in making sound business decisions that will lead to the development of appropriate action plans for improvement
- Responsible for keeping returning Hotel Crew up to date on all required training while sharing information on any operational changes that have taken place while off contract
- Design and support departmental training programs, continuously maintain all training materials and track and maintain all training and development records including the completion of training verification statements
- Support all Hotel departments in administrating, tracking and facilitation of the Hotel Succession Plan
- Partner with Hotel Leaders on training and development opportunities for the Housekeeping, Merchandise and Guest Services team
- Hold Hotel Leaders accountable and challenge thinking to ensure the overall service excellence training strategy is successful
- Support Hotel Operations as a whole with other duties when required
